Teresa Speaks at Healthcare Reform Summit, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce

Raleigh, NC - Teresa Gutierrez, Vice President of the North Carolina Association of Health Underwriters, spoke a Healthcare Reform Summit for Small Businessess sponsored by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.

"This is an opportunity share what we know about healthcare reform and how it will impact the small business community," said Teresa Gutierrez, President of White Bear Group. "It is critical that employer groups recognize the significant impact of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) on their employees, employee benefits, and their business models."

Guest speakers included Terry Akin, Chief Operating Officer of Moses Cone Health System; Chris Skowronek, Director of Health Policy, NC Hospital Association; Garland Scott, President/CEO of United Healthcare of NC; Kevin Williford, President of Williford Insurance Group; Meg Molloy, President/CEO of NC Prevention Partners; and Rob Luisana, Managing Partner of Pilot Benefits. Tim Rice, President & CEO of Moses Cone Health System, will make closing remarks.
